Day 1: .../Cusco

Welcome to Cusco. upon arrival, meeting at the airport and transfer to your hotel Accommodation in Cusco.

Day 2: Cusco - City Tour & Archaeological Park

Morning at leisure In the afternoon, admire the wonderful pre-Hispanic and colonial legacy of Cusco, an interesting journey where you will learn about the Temple of the Sun "Koricancha", ancient place of worship to the Sun God of the Incas where the convent of Santo Domingo was located, admire the beauty of the Main Square of Cusco and observe the most known sculptures and paintings in Cuzcanian Art inside the cathedral. Continuing the city suburbs, we will visit the Inca complexes of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive Sacsayhuaman Fortress, strategically built on a hill overlooking Cusco, famous for its huge stones of its external walls, cut and assembled with stunning precision. Day 3: Cusco/Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Visit the Sacred Valley, a picturesque tour where you can see important archaeological remains, landscapes and village customs. This tours starts with a first stop at Awanacancha Complex, here you can have the chance to feed Andean Camelids such as "llamas" and "alpacas"; also you can have the opportunity to meet local people who will show their techniques for weaving in their local sites. The tour will include the visit of the typical Pisaq Market where you can have the opportunity to shop or buy local handcrafts and try the traditional local costumes. Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit Ollantaytambo Fortress, made up by series of overlapped steps and terraces, built to protect the city from any invasion coming from the jungle through this part of the valley. You will have the opportunity to walk the narrow streets of the village and get a first-hand feeling of this military, religious and cultural center of the Inca Empire. Day 4: Cusco/The Rainbow Mountain/Cusco

This fascinating adventure begins very early, the transfer from the hotel is at 3.00 am approx. to start a journey of 3 hours with private transportation at the beginning of the route. Upon arrival, we will take a hot breakfast before starting the walk. The walking tour to the mountain will take about 3 hours. Live a great journey through an undiscovered land of wild desert, precious landscapes, snow capped peaks, herd of alpacas. Walk in a vibrant green valley with the impressive Ausangate mountain that ca be seen at the distance. You will experience first-hand how locals live in the mountains and even have a chance to speak with them. As you get closer to the Rainbow Mountain you will begin to see the first signs of the colored minerals that formed the painted hills. The guide will explain what makes up the existence of the Rainbow Mountain. Finally, with one last push you will hike up to the point that gives a 360-degree view of the beautiful landscape that makes up this sacred land. You will have snacks on top and take a well deserved break to soak up the vistas. After about an hour you will embark for your hike back to the trailhead (about 2-2.5 hours), where you will have an amazing lunch prepared by a private chef. Return to Cusco and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation in Cusco.

Day 5: Sacred Valley/ Machu Picchu/Cusco.

Live one of the most fascinating and extraordinary experiences of the world: Machu Picchu. The adventure begins by embarking on one of the most beautiful railway routes, pass through picturesque Andean landscapes and enjoy the amazing lush jungle until you arrive to the City of Aguas Calientes; here you´ll take the bus for a 30 minute drive along a zigzaging path leading to the marvelous citadel. Machu Picchu may have been home to Pachacutec, first Inca emperor. Walk through passageways and alleys of the citadel enjoy and take in this unique place in the world. Take free time to enjoy the mystic energy and natural beauty of the site before returning to Aguas Calientes for lunch. In the afternoon you´ll take your train back to Cusco. Accommodation in Cusco.

Day 6: Cusco/Lima/International departure

Transfer from the hotel to the airport to board your flight back to Lima and immediately take your connecting international flight.
