Day 2: City Tour Lima Colonial & Modern

Morning at leisure. In the afternoon visit the most important sites of Lima and wrap yourself in its charm and tradition. Visit the impressive historical center and go through by the Main Square, The Government Palace, City Hall, The Archbishop’s Palace and the Cathedral. You’ll visit San Francisco Convent that displays the largest monumental group of Colonial Art found in America. Here you will find the catacombs, underground galleries where the first Christians buried their dead and practiced worship ceremonies. Finally, take a tour through the financial and residential San Isidro district and enjoy an excellent view of the Pacific Ocean from Miraflores, the most touristic district of our city. Transfer to hotel. Accommodation in Lima.

Day 3: Larco Museum – Pachacamac Sanctuary

Discover the amazing treasures of ancient Peru in an unforgettable visit to the Larco Museum that exhibits remarkable chronologic galleries with an excellent overview of 3000 years of progress in Peruvian history. Located in a unique royal mansion built in the 18th, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The museum features the finest gold and silver collection from Ancient Peru and a famous erotic archaeological collection. In the afternoon visit the Pachacamac Citadel, the sanctuary of Pachacamac God, considered by old Andean people as the creator of the universe and Successful oracle to predict future and possible catastrophes. The citadel includes the temples, pyramids, and palaces. Here you will see the Temple of the Sun, the highlight of the Temple of Pachacamac and the Acllahuasi also known as Palacio de Las Virgenes del Sol (Palace of the Virgins of the Sun). The entire site is considered an ancestral center of pilgrimage and devotion of ancient Peru. Accommodation in Lima.
