Day 2: Cusco Crafts & Superfood

Join us for a colorful and informative stroll from Cusco's Plaza de Armas to the city's vibrant San Pedro Market where we'll help you discover more about local crafts and Andean superfoods! We begin our tour at Faces of Cusco in the historical Plaza de Armas for a short 'meet and greet' and introduction the city. As we make our way to the San Pedro Market from the Plaza, we'll stop at some of our favorite city sites for photos and a bit of interesting local history. Upon arrival the San Pedro Market, one of the city's most bustling and colorful food and crafts markets, you´ll get to meet the very best of the market's endless stands and vendors. Day 3: Bike adventure to Maras and Moray

We will travel by bus for approximately 01 hour, to the town of Chequerec (Chinchero), where we will begin our bike adventure with direction to the archaeological site of Moray. Let yourself be amazed by the beauty of the route. We will continue the tour enjoying of breathtaking landscapes that will lead us to the town of Maras, once there we will start the descend to the salt mines of Maras. At the end of our visit, return by vehicle to Cusco.

Day 4: Cusco/Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Visit the Sacred Valley, a picturesque tour where you can see important archaeological remains, landscapes and village customs. This tours starts with a first stop at Awanacancha Complex, here you can have the chance to feed Andean Camelids such as "llamas" and "alpacas"; also you can have the opportunity to meet local people who will show their techniques for weaving in their local sites. The tour will include the visit of the typical Pisaq Market where you can have the opportunity to shop or buy local handcrafts and try the traditional local costumes. Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit Ollantaytambo Fortress, made up by series of overlapped steps and terraces, built to protect the city from any invasion coming from the jungle through this part of the valley. You will have the opportunity to walk the narrow streets of the village and get a first-hand feeling of this military, religious and cultural center of the Inca Empire. Day 5: Sacred Valley/ Machu Picchu/Cusco.

Live one of the most fascinating and extraordinary experiences of the world: Machu Picchu. The adventure begins by embarking on one of the most beautiful railway routes, pass through picturesque Andean landscapes and enjoy the amazing lush jungle until you arrive to the City of Aguas Calientes; here you´ll take the bus for a 30 minute drive along a zigzaging path leading to the marvelous citadel. Machu Picchu may have been home to Pachacutec, first Inca emperor. Walk through passageways and alleys of the citadel enjoy and take in this unique place in the world. Take free time to enjoy the mystic energy and natural beauty of the site before returning to Aguas Calientes for lunch. In the afternoon you´ll take your train back to Cusco. Accommodation in Cusco.

Day 6: Cusco/Lima/International departure

Transfer from the hotel to the airport to board your flight back to Lima and immediately take your connecting international flight.
