Day 1: Cusco

Arrival at Cusco, assistance and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to rest and acclimatize to the altitude. Accommodation in Cusco.

Day 2: Cusco/Mollepata/Soraypampa (07 hrs)

Take an unforgettable journey through the most inhospitable and amazing path of the Andes, route Salkantay, Llactapata and Machupicchu, a fantastic hike that will take you through the most beautiful Andean scenery, with its high mountains and its majestic snow falls are the foyer to this magnificent background route to Machu Picchu, a true Wonder of the World. The adventure begins leaving the City of Cuzco headeding in tourist transportation to the town of Mollepata (3000 masl), Starting point of the hike and where we arrive in approximately 04 hours; Once we arrive Mollepata our hike begins, we cross through the picturesque valleys of Humantay (5217 masl) and Salkantay (6264masl) decorated with white snow, shortly after we begin our ascend to our first campsite in Soraypampa, known for it's cold climate, here we spend the night. Overnight at the Campsite.

Day 3: Soraypampa/Pass Salkantay/Challway (09 hrs)

In the morning we continue our tour, walking through the Andean highlands until we reach the highest point of our tour, El Paso de Salkantay (4600 masl) (The walk of Salkantay), Then we begin to descend to our next campsite called Challway (3000 masl), in our trek we will walk through tropical lush and humid forests where we can observe the amazing biodiversity of this area. Overnight at the Campsite.

Day 4: Challway/Wiñaypoco/Lucmabamba (06 hrs)

We continue our hike through the tropical, whimsical and cloudy forest to the lowest part of our tour. Throughtout the day the heat will be our constant companion as well as the uncomfortable mosquitos typical of this area. However, all this will be compensated by experiencing the traquility of this place decorated with beautiful orchids, and bromlaids etc. We pass through the town of Wiñaypoco (2650 masl) and arrive at the beach (2100 masl) where we will spend a cold night typical of this area. Overnight at the Campsite.

Day 5: Lucmabamba/Llactapata/Aguas Calientes (06 hrs)

On this day the vegetation, the mosquitos and the heat remain our constant companions in this tour. We will walk until we reach the Arechological complex of Llactapata (2650 masl), from here it is posible to view from a far the mystical mountain of Machu Picchu, after we continue our decend to the depths of the valley, to the shore of the River Urubamba, until we reach Hidroeléctrica (1950 masl), here we board the train in route to Aguas Calientes (2050 masl). In this town, we will enjoy lunch and have a good rest because tomorrow we must get up early to visit Machu Picchu citadel. Accommodation in Aguas Calientes.

Day 6: Aguas Calientes/ Machu Picchu/Cusco

We will leave our hotel towards Machu Picchu by bus. After our arrival at the citadel, our guide will give us detailed information about Machu Picchu and the history and culture of the Inca. Thereafter, you will have enough free time to enjoy and explore the site on your own (f.ex. go to the Inka Bridge, explore the variety of buildings or climb Waynapicchu for an amazing panorama picture). A bus takes you down to Aguas Calientes. Here you have the possibility to join the town's hot springs. We will leave Aguas Calientes in the afternoon and get back to Cusco. Transfer to hotel. At according time transfer to the airport and board your flight to Lima.
