Day 1: Lima – City Tour Colonial & Modern

At arrival in Lima, assistance, and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon visit the most important sites of Lima and wrap yourself in its charm and tradition. Visit the impressive historical center and go through by the Main Square, The Government Palace, City Hall, The Archbishop’s Palace and the Cathedral. You’ll visit San Francisco Convent that displays the largest monumental group of Colonial Art found in America. Here you will find the catacombs, underground galleries where the first Christians buried their dead and practiced worship ceremonies. Finally, take a tour through the financial and residential San Isidro district and enjoy an excellent view of the Pacific Ocean from Miraflores, the most touristic district of our city. Transfer to hotel. Accommodation in Lima.

Day 2: Lima/Cusco – City Tour & Archaeological Park

At the arranged time transfer from your hotel in Lima to the airport for your flight to Cusco Imperial City. At arrival assistance, and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, admire the wonderful pre-Hispanic and colonial legacy of Cusco city, an interesting journey where you will learn about Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), ancient place of worship to the Sun, God of the Incas where the convent of Santo Domingo was built, gaze the beauty of Cusco city´s Main Square and admire the most representative sculptures and paintings of Cusco´s Art inside the cathedral. Touring the city suburbs, we will visit the Inca complexes of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puka Pukara and the impressive Sacsayhuaman Fortress, strategically built on a hill overlooking Cusco, famous for its external walls built with huge stones cut and assembled with stunning precision. Day 3: Cuzco: KM 82/Huayllabamba or Lluncachimpa (6 hrs)

Here we begin our emotional adventure towards the Andes, The Inca Trail is an extraordinary and unforgettable trail that will take you to the most incredible and picturesque places, as well as the magnificent architectural legacy that we have inherited from the Incas. We start off by taking a bus to the 82nd kilometer of the railway line (2550 masl), a place where we begin our trail; later after the last coordinations, we begin the trek to the mountain top to Miskay or Llactapata where we have our first meal. We will visit the Llactapata complex and then the Huayllabamba community (3100 masl). We continue with the last part of this climb to Lluncachimpa or Huayllabamba campsite for a nice meal. Overnight at the Campsite.

Day 4: Lluncachimpa/Llulluchapampa/Pacaymayu/Chaquicocha (7 hrs)

Wake up early and witness one of the most beautiful wonders of this Journey, admire a beautiful Andean Sunrise from our campsite, later we resume our tour through Lluncachimpa Valley (3300 masl), continue our climb to Llulluchapampa (3850 masl) and view an impressive panoramic scene of the snowy and architectural surroundings on the way to Warmihuañusca (4200 masl), highest point of the trail. After a brief rest, we descend to Pacaymayu Valley (3500 masl) to later ascend again to the Paso de Runcuracay (3950 masl), from this area we initiate another descend where we get to know the archeological complex of Sayacmarca, finally, we arrive our second campsite located in Chaquicocha (3650 masl). Overnight at the Campsite.

Day 5: Chaquicocha/Wiñayhuayna (7 hrs)

This day is the easiest day of the Trek, our tour takes us through warm tropical forests known as the Yunga, here we can observe stunning landscapes such as the important archaeological complexes along the way; We will visit the archeological complexes of Phuyupatamarca (3600masl) and Wiñayhuayna (2650 masl), here we find our last campsite. Overnight at the Campsite.

Day 6: Wiñayhuayna – Machupicchu /Cuzco (5 hrs)

Early morning dawn, still under the starlight and lantern in hand (4:30 hrs), we resume our journey heading to Inti Punku or Puerta del Sol (Sun door) (2780 masl), a place where we can see the Sunrise over Machu Picchu, simply an amazing and breathtaking experience; then descend to Machu Picchu (2400 masl) to have our guided tour of the Citadel. Return to Cusco and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation in Cusco. …end of the Inca Trail Trek.

Day 7: Cusco/Lima

At according time transfer to the airport to take your flight back to Lima.
