ITINERARY

Day 1: Lima

Welcome to Lima! Upon arrival, assistance, and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. This day or afternoon, join a city tour to meet the past and present of this emergent city or discover some of the amazing museums which aim is to preserve the vast heritage of an amazing history and share it with you, through imposing exhibition galleries (city tour not included). Accommodation in Lima.

Day 2: Lima - Evening Gastronomic Experience

Morning at leisure 16:30 This tour begins at an upscale restaurant and lounge that sits right on the beach. With spectacular views of Lima's coastline, Cala is a spot you won't soon forget. Here, a professional bartender will share the secrets to making the perfect Pisco Sour so that you can impress your friends when you get back home. After this refreshing cocktail, we're off to the jungle as we take you to an award-winning Amazonian restaurant. Ámaz has been recognized for its lively and inviting design as well as its culinary creations by winning in the category of Best New Restaurant in Peru at the Summum Awards in 2013. Here, you'll prepare your own innovative cebiche from the jungle, which you won't find anywhere else. As far as tours in Lima go, this one is sure to amaze as you're likely to taste an explosion of flavor like no other you've tried before. The next stop is a well-known classic among Lima locals, the prestigious Huaca Pucllana Restaurant, located within an archaeological complex with illuminated ruins dating back to 500 A.D. Here you will enjoy a selection of Peruvian dishes and another pisco-based cocktail. The views and dishes are so irresistible at this stop that even Mick Jagger, Bill and Hillary Clinton and the King of Spain, among many others, have not dared to miss it during their travels to Peru. To wrap up the night, we'll head to the bohemian Barranco district for dessert. Accommodation in Lima.

Day 3: Lima/Cusco - Welcome dinner and folkloric show

Morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco Arrival in Cusco, assistance, and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to slowly acclimatize In the afternoon, enjoy a welcome dinner which includes dances and music. Day 4: Cusco - A San Pedro Market tour

We begin our tour in the historical Plaza de Armas for a short 'meet and greet' and introduction the city. As we make our way to the San Pedro Market from the Plaza, we'll stop at some of our favorite city sites for photos and a bit of interesting local history. Upon arrival, the San Pedro Market, one of the city's most bustling and colorful food and crafts markets, you´ll get to meet the very best of the market's endless stands and vendors. Designed to feel like an informal visit with local friend, this walking tour promises to be both fun and informative.Afternoon at leisure Accommodation in Cusco.

Day 5: Cusco/Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Visit the Sacred Valley, a picturesque tour where you can see important archaeological remains, landscapes and village customs. This tours starts with a first stop at Awanacancha Complex, here you can have the chance to feed Andean Camelids such as "llamas" and "alpacas"; also you can have the opportunity to meet local people who will show their techniques for weaving in their local sites. The tour will include the visit of the typical Pisaq Market where you can have the opportunity to shop or buy local handcrafts and try the traditional local costumes. Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit Ollantaytambo Fortress, made up by series of overlapped steps and terraces, built to protect the city from any invasion coming from the jungle through this part of the valley. You will have the opportunity to walk the narrow streets of the village and get a first-hand feeling of this military, religious and cultural center of the Inca Empire. Accommodation in Sacred Valley.

Day 6: Sacred Valley/ Machu Picchu/Cusco.

Live one of the most fascinating and extraordinary experiences of the world: Machu Picchu. The adventure begins by embarking on one of the most beautiful railway routes, pass through picturesque Andean landscapes and enjoy the amazing lush jungle until you arrive to the City of Aguas Calientes; here you´ll take the bus for a 30 minute drive along a zigzaging path leading to the marvelous citadel. Machu Picchu may have been home to Pachacutec, first Inca emperor. Walk through passageways and alleys of the citadel enjoy and take in this unique place in the world. Take free time to enjoy the mystic energy and natural beauty of the site before returning to Aguas Calientes for lunch. In the afternoon you´ll take your train back to Cusco. Accommodation in Cusco.

Day 7: Cusco

Transfer from the hotel to the airport to board your flight back to Lima and immediately take your connecting international flight.
