Day 1: Lima

Day 2: City Tour & Larco Herrera Museum

In the morning, your tour explores Miraflores and San Isidro, the modern districts of Lima and its historic center, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The tour includes a visit of San Francisco, the city's most visited church (1674). Its underground tunnels lead to catacombs that served as cemetery until 1808 and still contain bones and skulls. Our next stop is the Larco Herrera Museum. The collection allows the understanding of 3,000 years of the Peruvian pre-Columbian history in an intuitive way. Its masterpieces are considered worldwide icons of pre-Inca art and have been displayed in the world's most renowned museums. Afternoon at leisure Accommodation in Lima.

Day 3: Full Day Ica and overflight Nazca Lines (From Ica)

A fascinating day is waiting for your early morning. We pick you up from the hotel and depart to Ica. At your arrival, we make a short stop to visit the Huacachina Lagoon, one of the few natural oasis in the country, which combines landscape, dunes, palm trees and huarangos, Ideal for perfect pictures. Then we arrive to Ica Airport to take your flight to discover the mystery of the Nazca Lines and appreciate them by air in a small aircraft. In this amazing tour, you can see and these giant figures that the ancient inhabitants of Peru left marked on the vast Pampa de Nazca. Proof of the genius and wisdom our ancestors had. Dr. Maria Reiche, German archeologist who dedicated her life to studying the lines described it as the largest astronomical calendar in the world. We will fly over these mysterious drawings made in the sand that represent several animal shapes such as a spider, a monkey, a dog, a humming bird, a condor, amongst others; all of these having huge dimensions that vary from 50ft to 985 ft. in length and one foot depth. Finishing this experience in the air, a delicious lunch awaits for you in a local restaurant. Return to Lima and at your arrival transfer to your hotel (Duration: 14 hrs. approx.) Day 4: Lima/Cusco - City Tour & Archaeological Park

Arrival in Cusco, assistance and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, admire the wonderful pre-Hispanic and colonial legacy of Cusco, an interesting journey where you will learn about the Temple of the Sun "Koricancha", ancient place of worship to the Sun God of the Incas where the convent of Santo Domingo was located, admire the beauty of the Main Square of Cusco and observe the most known sculptures and paintings in Cuzcanian Art inside the cathedral. Continuing the city suburbs, we will visit the Inca complexes of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive Sacsayhuaman Fortress, strategically built on a hill overlooking Cusco, famous for its huge stones of its external walls, cut and assembled with stunning precision. Day 5: Cusco/Sacred Valley of the Incas

Visit the Sacred Valley, a picturesque tour where you can see important archaeological remains, landscapes and village customs. This tours starts with a first stop at Awanacancha Complex, here you can have the chance to feed Andean Camelids such as "llamas" and "alpacas"; also you can have the opportunity to meet local people who will show their techniques for weaving in their local sites. The tour will include the visit of the typical Pisaq Market where you can have the opportunity to shop or buy local handcrafts and try the traditional local costumes. Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you'll visit Ollantaytambo Fortress, made up by series of overlapped steps and terraces, built to protect the city from any invasion coming from the jungle through this part of the valley. You'll have the opportunity to walk the narrow streets of the village and get a first-hand feeling of this military, religious and cultural center of the Inca Empire. Accommodation in Sacred Valley.

Day 6: Sacred Valley/Machu Picchu/Cusco

Live one of the most fascinating and extraordinary experiences of the world: Machu Picchu. The adventure begins by embarking on one of the most beautiful railway routes, pass through picturesque Andean landscapes and enjoy the amazing lush jungle until you arrive to the City of Aguas Calientes; here you´ll take the bus for a 30 minute drive along a zigzaging path leading to the marvelous citadel. Machu Picchu may have been home to Pachacutec, first Inca emperor. Walk through passageways and alleys of the citadel enjoy and take in this unique place in the world. Take free time to enjoy the mystic energy and natural beauty of the site before returning to Aguas Calientes for lunch. In the afternoon you´ll take your train back to Cusco. Accommodation in Cusco.

Day 7: Cusco/Puno - The Route of the Sun

Embark on a comfortable tour bus and go through beautiful Andean landscapes up to the city of Puno in the Altiplano. On the way you'll see several touristic attractions such as Saint Peter Church of Andahuaylillas, also known as the Sistine Chapel of America; the archaeological center of Raqchi, an enormous building in honor of the Wiracocha God. The bus will stop for lunch at Sicuani village before continuing to La Raya, the village at the highest point on the route (14,223 ft.). Here you can enjoy few minutes to admire the landscape and take some photos before continuing to Pukara, the last stop on route for a guided visit of the museum that shelters archaeological remains of the Andean cultures who lived on the high plateau. Day 8: Puno/Titicaca Lake/Puno

Sail the waters of Lake Titicaca. Early in the morning you will start an excursion to the highest lake in the world. The tour includes a visit to Uros Island where you can go by comfortable motor boats. Uros is part of Aymara ethnic family of islands that live on artificial islands made of floating reeds (Totora is a plant that exist in the region). From here you can reach the hills of Taquile Island. Gifted with several hills and harboring archaeological sites, the island's main activity are textiles (hand works of art) representing scenes of everyday life. Day 9: Puno/Lima/International Departure

Transfer from the hotel to the airport to board your flight back to Lima and immediately take your connecting international flight.
