For the rest of the day we recommend one of the following optional activities (not included in the price):
- Visit Machu Picchu Citadel for the second time and if you prefer, do it very early to see the sunrise, one of the most beautiful wonders that nature can offer.
- For the more adventurous, we recommend going up to Huayna Picchu (unless it is raining) from where you have an impressive view of Machu Picchu and you can appreciate its real size. Walking up to the top of Huayna Picchu mountain takes about 2 ½ hours and can only be done before 1 pm. This is an exciting adventure for those who want to see the contrast between the wild natural vegetation and the carved stone emerging from the ground as a geological miracle.
